Alisal-King City football

Friday's game
Alisal (0-2) at King City (0-1), 7:30 p.m.
Two teams that originally had different opponents a month ago, are looking for some continuity and their first wins of the season.
Alisal, who set a school record for wins last year with eight, has led in both of its games at halftime, but has faltered in the second half, having been outscored 54-12.
Four turnovers grounded the Mustangs in dropping their fourth straight season opener two weeks ago to Soquel.
Alisal could have its hands full in slowing down 6-foot-3 receiver Dominic Rose, who caught seven passes for 98 yards against Soquel. DeAndre Sharif averaged 21 yards a catch two weeks ago.
Dating back to 2009, King City is 3-10-1 in its last 15 non-league games.
