Alex Barbeau is showing no signs from being off for over a year after tearing her ALC and MCL in her final game for Salinas High in 2011, compiling 50 kills in the UC Santa Barbara volleyball teams first six matches.
Playing on the outside, the 6-foot-1 Barbeau is second on the Gauchos in kills, averaging 9.5 a match. The Herald's Player of the Year in 2011, the sophomore also has 30 digs and four service aces.
