A former three-time Herald All-County football standout from both sides of the ball at North County, Lopez has settled in as a defensive back for MPC -- well sort off.
The sophomore also spent time at receiver for MPC last fall and was dynamic on kickoff returns. A former 1,000 yard rusher, an occasional run could be part of Lopez's package this year.
