The Gen Giammanco Foundation has given out awards for graduating seniors Kaylan Griffith of Carmel, Kayla Harper of North Salinas, Kyle Neeley of Monterey and Daisy Valladares of Notre Dame.
In addition, it has renewed five awards for Lucas Govan (Humboldt State), Mackenzie Nelson (Hartnell College), Carlee Swanson (Arizona Christian) and Lacee Ventura (CSU-Monterey Bay).
The Gen Giammanco Foundation was established in 2010 in memory of the former Salinas High volleyball player. Since its inception, the foundation has raised over $61,000 for college bound athletes.
