Mitch Kidd

Inserted into the lineup in the third quarter of a game in Week 4, and Palma trailing 12-0, Kidd came in and engineered 22 second half points with a touchdown pass and touchdown run.
The quarterback propelled Palma on a seven-game winning streak and undefeated Gabilan Division season, throwing for 1,111 yards on just 69 completions.
Kidd's presence behind center makes Palma an early season favorite in the Gabilan Division.

Palma offense will be very good this year with Kidd, Oliveras, and the other skill players (WRs, RBs, TE). O line should be good. Only question at Palma is experirnce on defense and they have a good core of about 6-7 players on defense and all will have to step up to make it a good one. Defense will be the questionmark this year and the difference in competing for a league title (which they should) and being aboube to go very far in the playoffs. The Palo Alto team they play early could be one of the bettr teams in CCS next season (including counting the top WCAL teams). If Palma defense doesn't step up, they could have problems with Carmel offense and definatly San Benito and maybe Salinas and Monterey.
