Football notes

 Some observations from Carmel's 7-on-7 passing camp from a couple of coaches.
 Marina has clearly improved. So has Gonzales.
 King City played well, as did Pacific Grove. Jake Speed looks bigger and stronger.
 Salinas ran the pistol offense with success.
 Seaside was missing some players.
 Certainly things change when contact is involved. But optimism is running high, as it should this time of the year.
