Seaside grad linked with Kaepernick

Not surprinsgly, former Nevada football coach Chris Ault called Colin Kaepernick one of the greatest athletes to come out of his program.
He also listed former Seaside High linebacker David Norman in that elite class.
In fact, Ault is quoted in the Reno Gazette as saying 'Norman might be one of the greatest athletes we've ever had'.
Norman, a 1987 Seaside graduate, spent time in the minor leagues with the Atlanta Braves organization.

I remember David Norman. My brother played against him and I followed him through his career. He was awesome at football, basketball, and baseball. Then he was a 2-sport star at Nevada. The only thing that slowed him up were injuries as I recall

David Norman was a beast at Seaside High! Well rounded athlete who exceled in three sports. David could of gone pro in the NFL or MLB if injuries from his tough gritty playing style didn't slow him down. He's gone on to a successful career in the financial world and gives back to the community as a mentor to youth athletes.
