Jack Santora

 The 36-year-old former Monterey High and UCLA shortstop is chasing a batting title in the Italian League, hitting .430 for Telemarket Rimini.
 Santora, who played for the Diamondbacks Triple A team in 2006, is third in the Italian League in hitting and runs scored (26) through Telemarket Rimini's first 22 games.
 Having taken part in three World Baseball Classics for Team Italy, Santora is second on the team in batting, runs scored, hits (37) and walks (12). He's also driven in 19 runs.
