Raffi Torres

 The newly acquired Sharks left winger gives the franchise something it's never had.
 An attitude on the ice.
 Torres is a punishing player that gets into opponents heads with his checks. He plays with an edge.
 He also gives San Jose something it has lacked on the ice in speed on the outside as a sniper.
 This trade was unheralded because of Torres' reputation. Perhaps he is just what the Sharks needed for a Stanley Cup run. Joe Thornton has looked like a different player since Torres' arrival -- as has the entire team.
