Notre Dame softball

It's happened three straight years at almost the same identical time.
The Spirits drop four straight games and a state of panic ensues outside the dugout walls.
Inside the dugout, the core of this team has been through it. No one pointed fingers.
What has followed is five straight wins going into today's meeting with Gilroy -- ironically the team that started Notre Dame on its traditional four-game skid.
During that four game road block, the Spirits dropped two games by one run, another by three. Mitty was the exception and that's a nationally ranked program.
Since then the Spirits have outscored five opponents 49-8. Pitcher Elizabeth Ray has three shutouts. Five different players have had multiple hit games.
