CSUMB baseball

Just six games shy of tying the single-season school record for wins with 20 games still remaining, the Otters (20-10) have never been 10 games over .500 in the history of the program.
Before the weekend is up with its four-game home series with Sonoma State, CSUMB could tie the single-season school record for home wins (16).
You're going to win a lot of games when you have two aces on the bump with earned run averages under 2.00 in Will Anderson (1.52) and Jeff Owen (1.72).
Owen (6-1) has three complete games, with 51 strikeouts in 47 innings of work.
As a team, CSUMB is hitting .288 with Gilroy native David Garcia chasing the teams triple crown, hitting .316 with team highs in homers (5) and runs batted in (20).
Five starters are hitting over .300, including San Benito grad Brian Haggett's team high .330 average.
