Nice to see the Dores not dropping after a solid tournament showing.

Pacific Grove would have 4-8 losses in the Gabilan. Monterey, Hollister, Palma and Salinas would pin at least one loss on them and probably two. Monte Vista and Christopher could top them as well. Hollister already beat a nationally ranked team - PG has not proven they are better with their mediocre schedule.

Always enjoy your ranking though.

Agree...PG's record is rather cushioned. Good team, they don't really play any team that will challenge them in league, and maybe 1-2 wins agains above average teams. San Benito should be #1 and arguably Palma could be placed ahead. Not impressed at all with PG non-league schedule. Put a good pitcher againt hitting team and the hits tend to disappear.

Teams like Monterey, Hollister and Palma play top non-league competition and seem to get punished for it.

Nothing against PG, but how many times do they have to play a team like Hollister or face a next level arm like Neff from Palma just in league? That kid should be getting Forbes/Pearson kind of ink. The top player in the county.
