Salinas-San Benito baseball

Last year the roles were reversed when these two teams faced each other for the first time -- literally.
San Benito was unbeaten in league and traveled to Salinas, where it ran into pitcher Colby Genasci, who tossed a no-hitter.
Today Salinas is unbeaten in league play when it travels to face the Balers.
The seven time league champion Balers are still kicking themselves after failing to take advantage of 12 walks and five hits-batsmen in a rare home loss to Monterey.
Owners of four straight wins, Salinas is coming off a season high 13 run outburst. Julian Wilcox, Lane Larronde and Jackson Duda have all been spraying the ball all over the field, with Duda ripping a homer.
The Balers have a dangerous lineup from top to bottom with Josh George and Gabilan Division co-basketball MVP Jacob Tonascia having found his stroke at the plate.
