Otters women's hoops

Three straight seasons of 20 or more wins. Three straight trips to the NCAA Division II tournament.
Three straight second round losses.
 I know CSUMB women's basketball coach Renee Jimenez.
 That's not enough.
 Jimenez isn't one to stand pat. That next step has eluded her the last two years.
 I like how Jimenez looks for players that come from winning programs, rather than individual standouts.
 Yet, I can't help but wonder if the Otters are just one dynamic player away from being a national championship caliber program.
 No one gets more mileage from her personnel that Jimenez. Her philosophy of balance and defense works. But at the next level, I feel you need someone that opponents fear.
