Hawaii tandem

Former King City High three-sport standout and Hartnell College All-American Marc Flores is hitting .283 for the University of Hawaii baseball team.
In 11 starts for the Rainbow Warriors, the 6-foot-5 Flores has the teams only home run this spring. He leads the team in walks (6) and is second in doubles and runs scored.
Former Monterey shortstop Stephen Ventimilia, who hit nearly .300 last spring as a freshman for the Rainbow Warriors in the leadoff position, has been platooning at second base.
