Signing Day

The first official day that high school football players can sign their letters of intent is Wednesday.
Palma offensive tackle Jack Powers will make it official with Arizona State while teammate Austin Wahl is headed to Cornell to play defensive back and Spencer Seeley is going to UC San Diego as an offensive lineman.
In addition, MPC linebacker T.J. Tuuu has a scholarship to Indiana State.

How many commits is that for the Palma senior class - six or seven different kids in 4-5 sports? Is this some type of local record?

Palma will have 3 in football, 2 baseball (maybe one more); 1 basketball, definate 1 (Manzur) and maybe 2 in wrestling plus some addional ones that could walk on somewhee in otrher sports. I recall some football years where they had more, but not so many if you include the other sports. This class has the most as far as that will sign in all sports. Palma has lots of talented underclass and junior high talent (especially 7 and 8th grade in wrestling).

You produce a great point in your own final paragraph. We couldn’t agree more together with your points. In today’s modern world, your approach to this issue is lacking in today’s kids. We need to ensure that our kids find out more on this topic so we never lose our ways.
