Having already made history with its first postseason win, MBL Pacific Division champion Alisal faces Division I top seed Santa Teresa, who is minus its Stanford bound midfielder.
But this is not the time to be overconfident for the Trojans, who face Santa Teresa on Saturday at noon at Valley Christian in San Jose.
Santa Teresa is still a deep team.
Alisal's best season in school history includes 16 wins. It hasn't allowed a goal in its last three games and its last five wins have been shutouts.
Priscilla Ruiz has accounted for a goal or an assist in 15 games this year for the Trojans.
Mission Trail Athletic League co-champion Stevenson caught fire at the right time, with eight straight wins heading into its Division III meeting with Menlo on Saturday at 2 p.m. at Valley Christian.
Kelly Smith followed up last year's 21 goal effort with 27 goals this year for the Pirates. Yet, she was a facilitator in the teams 3-2 overtime win over Pinewood on Wednesday.
Kaitlin Brennan accounted for two goals, including the game winner in overtime.
Stevenson (13-4-4) has never gotten past the quarterfinal round.
