 While it's great that this game was moved to accommodate what could be a big crowd tonight, the venue may not be of benefit to either team on the field.
 The Pit is a football stadium, not a soccer field. While it meets the CCS requirements for soccer, the dimensions with the width of the field are a little tighter.
 That 76 year old wall along both sides of the stadium doesn't move.
 Both Alisal and Alvarez are finesse teams that rely on ball movement.
 Alvarez is 1-0 at The Pit this year while Alisal is 0-0-1.
 The Pacific Division champion Eagles have shutout their last two opponents while the Gabilan Division champion and nationally ranked Trojans are unbeaten in their last 50 games.
 In the teams only meeting on Dec. 11, host Alisal beat Alvarez 1-0.
