How much have these teams changed since Alvarez hammered the Trojans 63-24 on Nov. 29?
On paper, not much.
On the court and in terms of confidence, these are two teams going in opposite directions.
Since opening the year with a school record 9-0 start, the Eagles have limped home, going 2-13 heading into tonight's rematch in the CCS Division I playoffs at Alvarez.
Alisal meanwhile had a 10-game turnaround, including a win over league champion Monte Vista.
Granted, these teams play in different leagues and the roles might have been reversed had Alisal been in the Gabilan Division.
But I don't see the difference being 39 points again?
