Salinas-Christopher girls hoops

Since falling in overtime to San Benito, the Cowboys have saddled up, winning their last two games to climb back into the Gabilan Division title chase behind Kate Dalman and Sam Moore.
 Salinas is trying to duplicate last year's feat in which it started 0-2 and promptly rattled off seven straight wins.
 Tabbed the team to beat before the year started, unbeaten Christopher has relied on Olivia and Hanna Tabron, a pair of 6-foot-1 sisters that can dominate the paint or come out and drain jumps hots.
 Ironically both Salinas and the Cougars last loss was to San Benito, although Christopher gained a measure of redemption by beating the Balers in league play on Jan. 10.
 Salinas has played just three home games all season.
