UCLA bound Noah Allen will not be in uniform on Friday when Palma visits Seaside. The fractured wrist needs a couple more weeks to heel.
That being said, the Chieftains are 3-0 in his absence. I think people forgot this is still a pretty good Palma team that plays disciplined defense, holding Alvarez to 28 points on Wednesday.
We haven't seen Seaside play its best ball yet. And that's scary, considering they're 11-1 this year.
Ronnie Turner is still grasping Seaside's system after earning all-county honors at Alvarez last year. The 6-foot-4 junior needs to find his rhythm for this team to take the next step.
After going scoreless through three quarters in Wednesday's win over Monterey, Turner came in and had eight quick points in the fourth quarter to secure the Spartans win.
