Pal-Sea boys hoops

 There will be a rematch.
And the hope is both teams will be at full strength.
But for one night, there was no disputing who the best team in the area is as Seaside sizzled from the field in the first half Friday en route to beating Palma.
Palma, which came into the game as a bubble team in Cal Hi Sports' State Division IV Top 20 rankings, was playing its fourth game without UCLA bound guard Noah Allen, who has a fractured wrist.
The 6-foot-6 Allen, who is leading the team in scoring at just under 24 points a game, has said he hopes to have his cast removed from his wrist in two weeks.
Palma was 3-0 in Allen's absence prior to running into a hot 12-1 Seaside squad.
"I told the kids after the game we have to look at reality,'' Seaside coach Kelvin Garnett said. "Palma's best player didn't play. We can't get too high. The next time we see them, Noah will be out there.''
The two teams will face off again at Palma on Feb. 1.
Still, this is a confidence boost for the Spartans, who appear to be finding that chemistry on the court.
