 This game was big for the North Salinas head coach for more reasons than just remaining in a title chase. Jackson had coached a handful of Seaside players on a travel team in the past.
  "We needed a game like this to build off of,'' North Salinas center Darjhian Tennant said.
  As an emotionally spent Jackson left the gym following the Vikings 61-53 win over Seaside, his Vikings title hopes are alive.
