Peninsula Division
1. Carmel: The two-time defending champs have three starters back.
2. Pacific Grove: Ignore the traditional slow start.
3. Stevenson: Lost five of its top six scorers to graduation.
4. Marina: One 6-foot-8 post creates concern for opponents.
5. Pacific Collegiate: Reigning CAL champions.
Valley Division
1. King City: Someone has to win this division.
2. Soledad: Was competitive in the preseason.
3. Gonzales: Could be a sleeper in this division.
4. Greenfield: Rudy Amezcua will have to carry the offense.
5. York: Hopefully this is just a one year experiment.

Look for Greenfield to compete at the top of the division. Win over NS.Lead late in 1st half against Salinas and OT loss against Carmel because of buzzer better by Carmel in regulation.
