Playing professional basketball in Europe, the 6-foot-3 point guard led the Latvian team back from an 18-point deficit to beat Russian Triumph 80-78.
 Rowland, who prepped at Palma and played one season at Hartnell College, took over the game in the second half, tying it with 44 seconds left on a 3-point goal.
 With five seconds left, Rowland sank the game-winning shot to cap the comeback, finishing with a team high 22 points, along with five rebounds and five assists.
 The 29-year-old Rowland is averaging 15.8 points a game this year in the Eurocup and 5.8 assists.
