Alisal-MVC boys basketball

This is what the equity league was suppose to do.
Winless last season in the old TCAL, Alisal is challenging for supremacy this winter in the MBL's Pacific Division.
The resurgent Trojans have already doubled last year's entire win total going into Friday's showdown with unbeaten Monte Vista Christian.
A lot has changed since the two teams faced each other in their season opener, an ugly 74-46 Monte Vista pounding. For starters, Alisal has matured and established chemistry on the court.
Rafael Camacho and Robert Bledsoe have triggered a 4-1 run since that debacle with Bledsoe hitting a game winner last week against Pajaro Valley.
Alisal will have to find a way to slow down 6-foot-4 David Hightower, who is averaging 21 points a night. In addition, the Mustangs have a lineup with four of their five starters standing 6-1 or taller.
