At one point the Lobos were sitting at 1-4 and struggling for an identity. MPC averaged just 21.7 points a game. Its quarterbacks were sacked 42 times. It turned the ball over 39 times.
Yet, MPC fought back from adversity all season, closing the year with a 4-1 finish, beating Hartnell in the season finale to gain a share of the conference title and a bowl bid. Grade: B.
