Eight seniors graduated from a program that won just eight games last season, which is why Gilroy was moved into the MBL's Pacific Division this winter.
The Mustangs had trouble scoring last year, scoring 37 or less points in five league games -- 30 or less twice.
Gilroy will rely on youth behind guard Tommy Cox. When it matures, it could be a second half force in the Pacific Division.
