San Benito
The Balers quietly went out and won 19 games last year, and were the only team in the old TCAL to beat champion Palma.
All-league guard Hyram Miskin is back, having averaged nearly 15 points a game in the second half of last season as a sophomore.
San Benito is deep at the guard position with returning starter Brian Becerra back. Do not be surprised to see Miskin move to small forward when the Balers go to a quicker lineup on the floor.
One thing the Balers do well is play defense. Last year they held 12 teams under 40 points, going 12-0 in those games.
