Two teams that didn't sniff the postseason last year are positioning themselves for an extended season this winter, as Alisal and North County have jumped out of the gates.
At 5-1, the Trojans have already equaled last season's entire win total, while 4-1 North County is two wins shy of matching last year's mark. Two years ago the Condors were 0-25.
Part of the resurgence at Alisal can be traced to the emergence of lightening quick guard Robert Bledsoe.
The Condors have put the ball into the hands of shooting guard Daniel Valle, who is dropping in nearly 17 points a game.
