 The reigning two-time Mission Trail Athletic League champions had their entire team in place before playing a game for the first time in three years.
 A lightening quick backcourt includes Thomas Spanos and sophomore Connor Marden while  freshman John Stivers is providing a presence in the paint.
 Defense has taken this team to a pair of league titles. Last year Carmel held eight league opponents to 37 points or less. Don't expect that strategy to change.
 Carmel closed last season with a 15-2 charge.
