Alvarez boys hoops

 There is a good chance Alvarez will be 8-0 going into the Luis Scattini Tournament on Thursday.
 Its first round opponent will be 7-2 Davis High of the Sac-Joaquin Section.
 The Blue Devils are one of the highest scoring teams in the state at 84 points a game. Davis has gone over the century mark in points three times this year.
 But it has also surrendered 102 and 101 points in losses.
 The Eagles have held three opponents under 40 points, and have not allowed more than 46 points in a game this year.
