Seaside-Monterey football

Both coaches downplayed the field conditions for Saturday's Battle of the Bay, should it rain on Friday, as expected.
But Seaside plays on a grass field that is below sea level. Meaning a little rain could make it a soggy Saturday.
That would seem to benefit a team that runs the ball as much as Monterey.
But as Toreadores coach Tom Newton pointed out, it rained last year and Monterey fumbled the ball six times.
Either way defense dictates the tempo.

That field is terrible whether it is dry or wet lol. One of the worst field in the are for sure. I hope when Mason Foster signs a Contract extension he hands over some money and gets them a new field lol..
