 Carmel's Emma Fuzie was named the Mission Trail Athletic League's Most Valuable Volleyball Player after a vote of coaches for the second straight year.
 A four-year starter for the Padres, the 6-foot-1 middle blocker compiled over 300 kills for the second straight season.
 Also named to the first team for the third straight year were King City's Jessica Davis and Santa Catalina's Lizzy Tardieu, while teammate Annie Aldrete was a repeater on the first team.
 Rounding out the MTAL first team were Stevenson's Puava Tulau, Anzar's Raleigh McKinney and Mali Gonzales, Carmel's Carly Eggers, Pacific Grove's Paige Book and Gonzales'  Margarita Perez.
