Menlo (9-2) at Seaside (11-0), Friday, 7 p.m.
Junior quarterback Jack Heneghan is the real deal for Menlo, having thrown for just under 2,800 yards and 29 touchdowns -- with just three picks in 238 attempts.
The Knights are the complete opposite of Capuchino, in that they put the ball in the air frequently, having thrown it 290 times as opposed to rushing the ball 219 times.
Heneghan's primary target has been flanker Connor Stastny, who has 50 catches for nearly 900 yards and 14 touchdowns for Menlo.
The Knights are 9-0 when they score 42 or more points, winless when they don't. Their two losses have been by three and four points.
Quarterback Michael Turner has thrown for over 2,300 yards and 28 touchdowns in 10 games for Seaside. Whether by design or not, he also leads the team in rushing.
The Spartans Ronnie Turner and Joseph Jakubowsky have 68 catches for over 1,300 yards and 18 touchdowns between them.
The 21 points Seaside gave up last week was a season high. Up until that point, the defense had allowed just 62 points all year. Jakubowsky has six interceptions this fall.
