Three of the five Central Coast Section honor coaches this fall are coming out of Monterey County.
Chosen were Salinas girls water polo coach Patty Lamar, North Salinas field hockey coach Stan Marple, and Stevenson boys and girls cross country coach Cleveland Thayer.
