 Wake up calls usually get you off your cloud in a hurry. Seaside survived a scare last week, thanks to a missed extra point in a 7-6 win over North County.
 The fire wasn't quite the same as it was a week earlier against Palma. Too many turnovers and a lack of focus on offense at times for Seaside has to be eliminated.
 The Spartans defense, an Achilles heel the last two years, has held two opponents this year without a point. It's firing of the ball and controlling the tempo.
 The objective this week is to neutralize Anthony Cantrell, who has rushed for 824 yards in four games for the Grizzlies.
