Seaside-Monte Vista football

While I think most people believed that Seaside and Monte Vista would be title contenders this year, I don't know if anyone saw both being 5-0.
Both squads have benefited from transfers this year.
Seaside landed a quarterback in Michael Turner, who is on pace to throw for over 2,300 yards and 28 touchdowns. It didn't hurt that Turner brought his younger brother Ronnie, who is averaging over 20 yards a catch.
Monte Vista found Cody Washington on its doorstep when the season started. A reserve tailback last year at Palma, Washington is on pace for a 1,000 rushing season.

Correction:
Washington came to MVC at the start of the 2011-2012 school year. He played JV as a Junior. Same as Matt Jiminez. and FYI - Isaiah Garcia is a Palma transfer to MVC to NMC.

Won't lie, if my son got financial assistance to play football and attend MVC, he'd be a Spartan in a blue uniform.
