Seaside football

It wasn't just Seaside's defense that was impressive.
That's been going on all year.
What got my attention was the adjustments the Spartans made at halftime offensively.
Seaside shorten its game, dumping off passes in the flat to open receivers, who racked up yards after the catch.
The result saw Seaside score 20 points in the third quarter, 14 in a span of 17 seconds, thanks to that nasty defense creating its fourth turnover of  the game.
My only concern for the Spartans is their ground game, which was non existent without quarterback Michael Turner. Then again, screens can be just as effective.
