Salinas (2-2) at San Benito (2-2), Friday, 7:30 p.m.
Home field advantage has meant little over the last four years as both teams have beat each other on the road.
Awarded a forfeit win last week over Los Altos, the Balers have not won a game on the field since Aug. 31 -- and have played just once in the last three weeks.
Salinas is 2-0 when it scores 50 or more points, winless when it doesn't. I don't see them putting up 50 this week against a physical San Benito defense.
Yet, the Cowboys defense has shored up some loss ends the last two weeks, having not allowed a point in the last five quarters.
If you're looking for turning points, Salinas' special teams have two touchdowns and one 52-yard punt return that set up a touchdown.
