Why isn't this game played at 'The Pit' each year?
There's no home field advantage for Palma playing at the Salinas Sports Complex.
You could put 10,000 people in there and it still wouldn't have that big game atmosphere.
Plus, if I'm Palma, I want to play on the Cowboys historic venue -- where it has never lost a game since the rivalry was renewed in 1994.
Personally, I would rather see 3,500 people packed at the 'The Pit' than 5,000 scattered at the Salinas Sports Complex.
