The last time Greenfield failed to finish at .500 or better was in 2005. The 211 points it has allowed through six games is more than last year's entire season total.
After being blanked a week earlier, the Spartans produced a season high 28 points as quarterback Sergio Baez tossed three touchdown passes, equaling his entire season total.
Gonzales is starting to get a little healthier. Along with that is coming confidence. The last time the Spartans beat Greenfield was in 2004.
