If the Pirates could reverse two plays, they might be 6-1 instead of 4-3. Stephen Hotta is 338 yards shy of 1,000 rushing yards for Stevenson.
Stevenson's defense has not allowed a touchdown in the first quarter this year. Grant Peszynski has four interceptions and four touchdown catches.
The only roster with smaller numbers than Stevenson is Gonzales.
Quarterback Sergio Baez has accounted for nearly 1,800 rushing and passing yards for the Spartans. Rhett Panziera and Raul Delgado have combined for 55 catches for 853 yards.
