Gilroy-Alvarez football

Gilroy (1-5) at Alvarez (0-5), Friday, 7:30 p.m.
 These are two teams that do not belong in the Monterey Bay League's Gabilan Division.
 The Mustangs have given up 108 points in their last two games and are allowing 49.8 points a game in their five losses.
 Alvarez is one of two county teams still searching for its initial win, having allowed 41 or more points in its last four games.
 The Eagles did produce a season high 19 points in their last outing. Alvarez is still looking for its first points of the first quarter, having been outscored 53-0.
 Gilroy has played its last two games without its leading rusher and best athlete in Brandon Boyd.
