Should Carmel be somewhat concerned about its less than stellar first half's against Stevenson and Greenfield over the last three weeks?
 Not really.
Carmel has trailed before in an MTAL game during its run of 31 straight league wins. And it too was on the road in south county.
Maybe there's a lack of fire to open the game. Maybe the opponent is playing at a high level.
But the bottom line is the result and the Padres put 50 up on Greenfield on Friday after trailing by seven. Carmel outscored Stevenson 35-0 in the second half.
When you're averaging 53.5 points a game in league play, that's not a team in decline.
