Palma football

In terms of magnitude, I don't know if there's been a bigger league win at Palma since this run of 28 straight playoff appearances began.
Mentally and emotionally, this was big.
Palma was 17 minutes away from dropping its third straight game -- which would have been a first since its historic playoff run began.
Not since Jeff Carnazzo went for a game-winning two-point conversation in the 2000 CCS Open Division championships had he made a bolder decision than on Friday.
Carnazzo changed quarterbacks in the second half with hopes of creating a spark. Mitch Kidd lit a fire under Palma, engineering three second half touchdowns in a 22-12 win over Monterey.
Palma, which hasn't scored in the first half all year, hadn't produced more than 15 points in a game this fall.
Palma doesn't win this game if that move isn't made.
