MPC (1-2) at Reedley (0-4), Saturday, 7 p.m.
Reedley's winless start is somewhat misleading. Three of those losses have been by a touchdown or less.
Last week quarterback Sean Stell put the ball in the air 62 times, as Reedley managed just 57 yards on the ground in a 27-20 loss to Sacramento City College.
Nicholas Alarcon gave the Lobos a much needed spark on the ground last week with 92 yards and two rushing touchdowns. Alarcon averaged 5.8 yards a crack.
Quarterback Cole Houston looked much more comfortable in the offense, completing 17-of-23 for 248 yards and two touchdowns in MPC's win over then ranked Los Medanos.
After turning the ball over nine times in two lopsided losses, MPC coughed it up just once last week.
