Monte Vista (3-0) at King City (1-1), Friday, 7:30 p.m.
The last time King City hosted a game, it gave up 62 points to Soquel. Monte Vista is averaging 58.2 points through its first three wins.
Monte Vista has been particularly strong in the third quarter, where it has outscored the opposition 37-0.
Quarterback Nick Matiasevich has thrown for over 600 yards and nine touchdowns, completing over 70 percent of his passes for the defending MBL tri-champions.
King City has had to play from behind in both games. Keeping Monte Vista's offense off the field starts with a heavy dose of Buddy Sans, who rushed for 145 yards in his last game.
But King City has big play potential as well with DeAndre Sharif, whose first two catches this year accounted for over 100 yards and a touchdown. That does not include his 92-yard kickoff return.
