During its run of 18 straight losses, Marina has been shutout nine times, including its last four games dating back to last fall.
Harbor hasn't had a winning season in 13 years. It hasn't won two or more games since 2005. Last year it produced the second lowest point total in the CCS's southern section behind -- Marina.
Garrett Fonseca has already surpassed his rushing totals from last year with 233 yards on 41 carries for the Pirates.
Marina has got to stick with its plan and ignore the skepticism. Improvement should not be measured in wins when you are trying to build a foundation.
