Gilroy (1-3) at Salinas (1-2), Friday, 7:30 p.m.
Salinas was held without a touchdown last week for the first time since 2008 when Gilroy did it.
But don't expect this to be an ongoing occurrence.
There is too much firepower in the Salinas backfield to be kept down again.
I'm not sure the two-headed platoon at quarterback is working. I can't see how the offense can get into a flow.
Then again, Salinas produced 93 points in its first two games.
With Jackson Duda taking snaps, it's like a third running back in the backfield.
Gilroy opened up its offense last week with three touchdown passes. After giving up five touchdown passes through the air in their season opener, the Cowboys have allowed just one.
